After Hunter had just vanished, I dashed outside the house which Hunter had said his friend was kind enough to loan him.
How was I supposed to get home now? And what do I even say to Xaden? How do I explain Hunter to him, what excuse do I give Mira for not returning to my chores and duties? And what explanation do I give Mama for not returning to the cottage?
Once outside, my attention was alerted to someone standing discreet, leaning against the wall.
