Xaden's pov
"Did you find her?" I asked immediately when the door opened and Xavier and Connor walked in.
"No." They mumbled.
I bolted to my feet, raking my hair with my hands. "Luna Sera?" I asked.
"She's not there either." Connor answered, while Xavier remained dead quiet.
"Someone must have taken her." Connor voiced.
"Who would dare do that?" I barked.
"You left her for dead." Xavier muttered, his gaze steady on mine.
I saw Connor pinch his arm to stop him, but it was too late, since I already heard him.
Without taking my eyes off him, I walked stealthily towards him. He stood unmoving like a brick wall. Then I poked my fingers against his chest. "What did you say?" I bit out, calmly picking each word.
He remained quiet.
