"Mira?" She whispered uncertainty, as though she had seen a ghost.
Behind her, my mate stood, eyes glaring darkly at me.
"What the hell---?" He cursed.
I gritted my teeth in anger at the thought that I was too late. I had heard the villagers say that the mating ceremony had happened that eve.
I glanced at the faces staring curiously at me.
I must do something if I want my stolen mate back.
Of all the faces, one in particular held me spellbound.

"Mira?" Violet called out again.
