Violet's pov
As we continued in silence, we got closer to the stable. I made a wave at the stable boy but stopped abruptly. Panicked, Danya gripped my arm. " What's wrong?" She inquired.
My eyes never strayed from where he stood, prancing and examining a particular horse. Something about the steed looked familiar. But since he was standing directly before it, I couldn't really tell which horse. On a closer look, I made the most shocking discovery-- it was shadow!
"Quick! Run to the castle. Go get Lord Xaden." I said to Danya.
"But my lad..." She began.
"Go!" I barked, pushing her in the direction of the castle.
Then as I began to trudge towards the stable, my head whirled.
How dare he show his face here?
