Instead, the investigator had uncovered an entire graveyard of Julie's old scandals.
Xavier knew about them too.
By the time the bystanders watching the scene understood what was going on, they had already started mocking Ruby.
"Well, look at that. She threw away a good woman like Brianna just to kiss some mistress' ass, and now she's getting humiliated in public."
"That woman's got a lot of nerve. God knows what kind of diseases she's carrying."
Ruby went deathly pale and grabbed Xavier's arm. "Then go to the hospital and get checked right now!"
