I was in Spain! With Michael. This was going to be a blast. I was all done with my book. I was feeling so much better about things. And about myself. I had so much in life to look forward to. With my husband.
We were seated on a balcony enjoying breakfast around noon. Because we had slept in. We had been up talking and then making love. I had to tell Michael some more big news. I could not wait to share it. I wanted to wait until after a special moment.
But when was the perfect time to tell him this news? Nervous butterflies rumble in the pit of my chest. I take a sip of juice. Everything was so yummy. Underneath nearby us we could hear a little street band playing tunes.
