“Where are you going?” I asked. Unfamiliar faces surrounded me, a visage of blank, black features that were indecipherable. I was at a place unknown, equally dark, with a dusky sky and blurred images of gnarly trees. “Where are you going?” I repeated, but no one answered. I started to think the faces around me weren’t people but plain objects obstructing my path. I tried to move forward, but my feet were rooted firmly to the ground. When I looked down, my feet were submerged in dark mist. They were soaked.
