The Cages were gone again, missing for at least three days including the weekend. A better term would’ve been ‘going on a trip’, but I didn’t get that kind of vibe. The Cages’ house was as empty as ever.
The kingdom leaders, Ryu and Emerald, were still there to uphold their reputation and bedazzle the students. It was worse for me, as I received the scariest looks from both. They were like a waiting pack of predators that had set an ambush for their prey. They followed my every move, and though it freaked me out, I ignored them to save myself the distress.
