Odelia had an appointment with dad today, and if mom wasn’t home, I’d have dismissed her. Dad and Odelia were making no progress, and this was a little game they were playing to win over one another. I didn’t know what they were fighting to accomplish, but it was pointless. I sat with mom in the living room while Odelia conversed with dad.
