OBJECT OF AFFECTION
Sathian sat on the ground, leaning against the base of the bronze statue of a hooded Ange’el priestess. The figure pivoted a large crystal globe around in the air using a piece of cloth. A strong gust of wind forcefully lifted the drapes of her garment, creating ripples of movement around and behind her. Her entire body leaned backwards, attempting to balance the gravitational force caused by the motion of the transparent globe that reflected the rays of the sun. The tension of the cloth that wrapped around the sphere helped provide a sense of twirling motion to the patined bronze and crystal sculpture.
