Chapter Two:GENOVESE Clan

1460 Words
Christian's face was as hard as stone as he took off his clothes, leaving only his trousers. His biceps were visible as he walked out of his room still with a stoned, cold face, his brown silky hair covering his left eye. He had a full grim reaper figure tattoo widely drawn on his back. There is also a little visible rose drawn on the right side of his chest. He entered the hall where his boys were waiting for him, and he sat down. They all went silent the moment he sat down. No one dared to talk unless allowed to. His right-hand man, Derek, stands beside him. “Have you grouped them?” Chris asked Derek. “Yes boss, I have, and they are all ready for the job” Derek said, and Chris nodded. “I want no mistake” he said, and Derek nodded. Chris calls out some men in the mob, the ones who seem to be very well-trained. “When you are back from this job, I have a job for you,” he said and stood up. He left the hall and went back to his house. Derek rushed after him and quickly met up with him before he could enter his room. “Boss, I managed to catch the thief,” Derek said, and followed Chris into his room. “Bring him to me”, Chris said with a bored tone, and Derek bowed a little before going out. Chris went to the darkest part of his room and sat on his favorite cushion. His room is always dark, and Derek is used to it already that he knows his way round the room and his boss's position. The door opens, and two guys drag a man in with Derek following them behind. The man was shivering as he looked around while trying to adjust his face to the darkness. He was also trying to find Chris, but all was to no avail. “You are the one that has been stealing my merchandise,” Chris said. The man shivered and looked around, trying to figure out where the sound was coming from. Chris stands up and walks forward a bit. The light was suddenly turned on, and everyone squinted their eyes, trying to adjust to the sudden brightness except Derek and Chris. “Now you can see me,” Chris mumbled. “You know what I hate the most?” Chris asked. He went to a table and pressed a button on it. He shifted back a bit, and the table revealed all types of weapons. Derek signals to the boys to leave. He knows Chris always does that when he wants to be the one to torture a criminal. “Do you?” Chris asked, and he went back to where the guy was kneeling down. “No boss,” the guy stuttered. “You should know I hate thieves and li*rs,” Chris said. He was surely enjoying what he was doing to the guy. He was trained to feed on others' fear. “I will only ask you once. Why did you steal my merchandise? "Who sent you?” Chris asked. “No one sent me, boss, I promise,” the man mumbled. “I needed extra cash, so I thought I should go the black market way,” the guy said, and Chris looked at him. He was beginning to get annoyed. He always made sure to wipe out all black market dealers and now one of his boys is involved in it. Black market dealers always make it hard for them to get clients as they sell lower than the normal price. He chuckled and stabbed the guy. With the knife in his hand, his scream fills the room, but no one cares. “F**k, f**king hell”, the guy screamed. “So noisy” Chris whispered and stuffed the knife into his throat. It went straight in and out from the other side. Some guys walk in and drag the corpse out while Chris cleans his hand with a cloth. He takes his weed and lights it. “We counted the money boss, and it wasn't complete,” Derek said. “Matteo is trying to play smart with me” he said, and rubbed his chin, then dropped the stick on the tray on the table. “He was at the club near the college, but I heard there were students going to be there for a party”, Derek said, and Chris kissed his teeth. “That's why he is there. He knows we won't want to cause a ruckus or hurt any student,” Chris said. “We take just four boys with us,” he added. “What about what I asked you to do?” “It's hard, but I will get something soon,” Derek said. “Make it fast, I am getting impatient” Chris mumbled, and Derek nodded. MONICA POV “I can't believe Kyle is dead. "The guy was just trying to celebrate his birthday,” Tina mumbled in tears. Everyone is obviously still in shock at what happened, especially me. I was on the verge of death, but thanks to the handsome stranger, I am still alive. “I can't believe it either” I whispered. Lilian had managed to call the police, and they came as quickly as they could. They asked us some questions and then escorted us home, asking that we get back to them if we remembered anything. They talked to me the most, since I was the one who had a close call with the killers, but I told them I didn't see anything or anyone's face as I was scared for my life. “It's our first outing in our final year, and this just had to happen. It's crazy,” Lilian mumbled. “We can't blame ourselves for whatever happened back there. "The bad guys should be blamed,” I said. “You are one strong lady. "If it was me, I would have been traumatized for life,” Tina said. “I love trouble,” I whisper and chuckle. “But guys, I need to tell you something” I added, and they focus their attention on me. “What's that?” Tina asked. “The guy who saved me, the other gun guy, the bad guy” I said, and they both nodded. You know, I got to see his face and…. “You told the police you didn't see anything. "Why?” Lilian asks. “Just listen to me,” I half yell. “Guys, I have never seen anyone that handsome. He looks like a Demi god. "His brown eyes, his brown hair, his cute lips, it's just crazy”, I said and shook my head. “Maybe he is a demi god, just like the movies” I said, and looked at my friends. They were battling their lashes with their mouths wide open. “I am not joking. "You needed to see him when he held me, preventing me from falling, his soft voice, everything was just perfect”, I said. “Are you crazy?” Tina whispered. “Oh my God” Lilian half yelled and covered her mouth. “What?” I ask. “Maybe it's the effect she is getting from what happened. It must have messed with her head. "We need to get her to the hospital right away,” Lilian said and sprang up. “Guy, guys, please, I know what I saw, and nothing is messing with my head. "Just believe me, this guy is hot,” I said, whispering the last word. “Monica, this is not the movie where you think you have met your Mr Right. This is reality. This guy is dangerous and kills without hesitation. "He didn't care if you were going to die, remember” Lilian said. “But he asked if I was okay, and he saved me,” I mumbled and bit my lips. “You are so unbelievable,” Tina said and shook her head. “Wake up from your stupid dreams and describe his face to the police so he can be caught”, she added, and I scoffed. “If only I could meet him again,” “Okay, it's definitely an effect,” Lilian said, and Tina nodded. “How did he even get away that quickly? "The light was off for just a few seconds?” I asked. “Because he is a criminal, hello” Lilian said. “A handsome one” I mumbled, and they both looked at themselves and yelled my name. “MONICA”
