"AAAAAAAH!" There is a demented, anguished cry in the dim bathroom of the darkened house. Echoes throughout the deserted rooms, like the deep, wheezing, growling noises that escape the man"s throat. With a swelling fist, he clutches at the tiny gray patterned tile wall. Finally, two drops of deep blood slowly drop through the air, directly into the already rosy water.
"Ha...fuck..." he sighs a deep sob, then turns shakily to the shell. He taps the faucet open, leaning down and slapping cold water into his bearded face. He pauses. Allowing the water to gently wash the sweat off his face, he clenches his eyes tightly shut at the pain that still rages in his body.
Wrapped in a towel, he slowly paces across the spacious room, heading directly for the large window of the bedroom. Breathing shallowly. It feels like agony. Stopping, he presses his fevered forehead against the window"s cooling glass. He gazes at the tree looming in the gray courtyard in front of him, battered now by the raging storm outside. The glass reveals his hot breath in an instant. Holding the towel tightly, he only shakes his head, narrowing his eyes. He cannot bear to stand. Fever and pain make his knees buckle until he can hardly sit in the window. Slowly, he draws his knees up, leans on them, and his tears stream freely as his powerful hands run powerlessly through his lush dark hair.
