"NO WAY!" he slams his fist into the office wall with enough force to make it crack. Erich turns to him seriously, then towards the doctor gesturing towards Katara. The doctor reaches for her and lifts her from the ground.
"Remember, Damian," Erich says softly "The instinct is an extremely dangerous demon. It is hardest to control. It protects and possesses, but it is soulless. It kills without restraint, punishes, destroys worlds when its will is threatened." Damian exhales again and gazes into Erich"s eyes. "Calm down, before it gets out of control!"
Silence.
Damian lowers his head watching the bleeding knuckles on his left hand.
"You know her best. How long can she hold out?" asks Erich looking at his phone. No answer, he turns to Damian, who is licking his wounds. "Answer me!"
