The desk phone rings.
"Miss Green, another deliveryman," says the guard. I smile.
"Let him in!"

Enter the cafe and walk to the counter. Nothing has changed on the regular menu. Why am I looking at it? I"m suddenly flooded by warmth out of nowhere. There s somebody watching! I can sense it. I tighten my grip on my mobile and look around. There is no one familiar.
"Anything I can offer you?" the waitress asks.
"Ma..."
"Macchiato extra, no ice!" comes the voice behind me, and the large arm wraps around me. I break out in a sweat right away when Damian kisses me on the cheek. "Hi, rosebud," smiles Damian.
"Hi" I turn to look at him. "You scared the hell out of me!"
He smiles and kisses me.
"So, how was your day so far?"
"A long one" I sigh.
