Blythe. I closed the door to his chambers behind me, leaning back against the door as I closed my eyes, trembling hand gripping at my chest. Lying to him was enough to cause my lungs to start burning and my head to start aching. I leaned my head back against the doors and blinked up at the ceiling of the hallway, my lips parted as I panted, trying to force air back into my lungs. My wolf was snarling at me, her canines bared and her grey pelt standing on end but the chains holding her back, prevented her from escaping and tearing me apart in the room that was our joined mind. I reached for the door frame to steady myself and stumbled in the direction of the West wing, using the wall as support. I had to lie, I had to convince him that Aron was nothing but a farce to present to the public
