Aron. Her words left me speechless, lips parted but without anything to say. She smiled at the shock on my face, her lips pulled slightly back to expose the four fangs that were smaller than what they were when she would fight. She looked so tired, so drained both physically and emotionally and it only seemed to remind me of the day before when she had worked late into the night to clean and stitch up my wounds. I glanced down at her hands cupping the bowl in her lap and moved so that I could take one of those small hands in mine.
