Chapter Twelve

"What are you doing?" Thana asked her mate.

"Taking selfies." Thana raised her brows.

"Showing cleavage?" Essence looks down at her chest and quickly cover it.

"Sorry." Thana laughs.

"It's fine." Essence fixes her bathroom robe and walks towards her mate. Essence leans in and kisses Thana's lips.

"Good morning," Thana said as she pulls away.

"Morning. When did you get here?"

"Just now." Essence smile.

"I heard Rose and Moana in the next room." Essence sigh.

"Yea they have been doing it every day after mated." Thana laughs.

"Rose is one horny creature."

"So is my Sister."

Thana was about to kiss her mate again when Dominika, Aurelia, and Sephora suddenly appears on the balcony.

"We have a problem." Aurelia remains expressionless. Thana nod and gave Essence a kiss goodbye.

"Sephora call for Rose." Sephora nod and fly to the next room. Before Sephora get to knock on the windows, Rose opens the window.

"I heard," Sephora look behind Rose to see Moana naked in bed.

"I'll be back honey," Rose said and walk towards Moana and kiss her temple. Rose put on her clothes and meet everyone outside.

"What's up?"

"A village needs our help," Aurelia said. Rose let her wings out and flaps it hard a couple of times.

Thana mounts on Dominika together with Aurelia and they all shot off towards the village in distress.

Zeus and Orien led their followers into a small village of loyalists. There were creatures of all kinds here who were loyal to the royals and Zeus was determined to make an example of them.

"I want nobody spared!" Zeus gave his orders. His followers began to burn, kill and rape anyone they saw.

Men, women, and children were running wild trying to flee the torture. One man was brought into the street and held down as his pregnant wife was violently raped until she was bleeding. After the rape, the women were stood up and her stomach was sliced open. The husband screams as he saw his unborn child fall to the ground and his wife's bowels falling out after.

Then Orien ordered his vampire followers to eat the husband. The man didn't even fight it. It was like he didn't realize he was being eaten. He just kept trying to save his wife and child. Another woman was running with her child in her arms as the men sliced them both in half. The 'lucky' ones were either burned or killed quickly.

Piles of bodies were thrown in the street and lit on fire. Some were still alive. Screaming and burning to death. Zeus smiled at the site. After this, nobody will feel safe being loyal to the crown.

Dominika landed on the burning village and everyone was surprised. Thana looks around for any sign of life. Rose sniffs the air and smells the freshly burned flesh.

"I picked up some foreign scent," Rose announced. Thana walks around and kneels as she saw a person, barely alive. She kneels and touched her hand.

Thana watch as her experiences was shown inside her mind. The poor woman was raped repeatedly. Thana clenches her fist as she saw the person who responsible for this attack. She let go of the woman's hand and close her eyes.

"It's Zeus and Orien." Aurelia turned grim and angry.

"We're here too late," Dominika said. Sephora wipes her tears as she looked at all the corpses.

"WE'RE HERE TOO LATE!" Thana screams her frustration. Rose heard something not far from the scene.

"Wait here." She said and fly towards the noise.

Rose saw an injured man on the ground, crawling away. Rose gracefully landed on the ground and watch this man shriek in pain. Rose grabs him by the head and flew towards Thana.

"Let's meet the princess." She said and shaking this man body hard.

Rose landed and threw this man in front of Thana. Thana shows hatred towards this man and steps on his chest hard.

"You are one disgrace being in this world!" Thana yells. She applies more pressure on her feet as the man tries to grabbed Thana's leg.

"YOU THINK I FEEL THAT, YOU WEAKLING!!" She screams.

"I will show you what death feels like!" She said grimly and reaches from her sword.

"Hold him..." Thana commanded her friends. Aurelia and Dominika grab the man and make him stand. Rose and Sephora watch from afar. They know it's futile to even stop her from doing anything with this creature.

Dominika and Aurelia tied the man up at a pole while Thana circling him. She nudges his side lightly and grabs his head to see his memory. Thana saw Zeus and Orien's main plan. She let go of his head and her anger skyrocketed.

"You want to kill my mothers’?!" She asked.

The man was too weak but Thana saw the slight grin on his face. She looks up with the Cheshire grin and releases a small laugh.

"Woman... Are... Stu...." Thana didn't let him finish when she sliced the man from the side, completely through the pole. She stabbed his remains with her sword and watch it burned.

Thana turns to face Sephora.

"Tell my mothers’ to take care of this. Buried all the unfortunate. The others and I will go to meet Zeus and Orien." Rose smirks turn wide.

"Finally some action," Sephora whistles for her broom.

"Be careful." She said before she went to the castle. Thana turns to Dominika.

"Let's meet this bastard." They all nod.

Zeus was making an ornament with someone's guts when Thana kick his door down.

"YOU'VE CROSS ME FAR TOO MANY TIMES YOU BASTARD!" Thana screams and jumps on top of Zeus. Zeus was too surprised to act but he nods to his guards to shoot at Thana. But before they get to shoot, Rose and the others suddenly appeared in front of them.

"Nope... That's a bad move boy." Aurelia said.

"Rose. Please do the honors." Rose smirks and with her inhuman speed, she went to each guard and suck his blood dry.

"Delicious...." Rose said and wipe her mouth and watch as every guard turns to dust.

Thana stands and pulls a knife to Zeus's neck.

"You killed and rape so many people today. Tell me why I shouldn't to kill you right here, RIGHT NOW!" Thana yells.

"THANA AKELDAMA!" Thana flinches at Kora’s voice. Thana turned and face her mothers’.

"Step away from him..." Kora commanded.

"Why should I?!" Thana asked with hatred.

"Because he's one of the people that were in the care of King Alfred," Kharis said and try to coax her daughter away from the despicable man. Kora tries as hard as she could not kill Zeus right now.

Without any proper letters and such, they can't touch him.

"COWARD! Hiding behind a f*****g King. What did you do? Rape him too?" Thana taunted him. Zeus turns red from controlling his anger. Orien walks in and claps his hand.

"The royal family is here. What a surprise," Orien looks at his friend.

"I see... You can't touch us. We are the followers of King Alfred." Thana hissed and remove herself from Zeus.

"f*****g King." She breathes out. Rose was totally confused by all that is happening.

"Who is this King Alfred?" She asked Aurelia. Aurelia leans in.

"He's appointed himself as King after his mother passed." Rose now completely confuse.

"Ugh! He's the king who protecting rogues like him." Aurelia explained.

"Why can't Thana kill him now then?"

"Because if she did, the king will start a war with Thana's parents."

"So? They can beat him." Rose shrugged.

"Not likely. Because of the kings status, many royal family sides with him. Only certain family sided with the queens. It's messed up like that."

"So we basically can't do anything? The queens’ rule this realm." Aurelia sighed.

"This realm and human world. How about other realms? They will attack the queens’ kingdom and we all turn to dust..." Rose finally gets it.

"So? I can ask my parents to help us." Aurelia was about to argue but she didn't.

"That's actually a good point," Rose smirks. Thana walk towards her parents.

"You all aren't invited here," Zeus said while holding his neck.

"And you killed my men!" He yells. Thana scoffed.

"You’re lucky I didn't circumcise you completely." She said. Zeus moves backward. Orien glares at his friend. Orien points at the queens.

"You bitches should go before we tell King Alfred." Rose pulls her sword. With one swing, she cut Orien's whole arm.

"You don't point to the royal family. Only I can." Rose warns with her piercing red eyes. Orien shrieks in pain and reaches out for Zeus.

Zeus watch as his friend's arm on the floor, twitching. Thana chuckle. Zeus rips his shirt off and put it on Orien's to stop the bleeding.

"You will pay for this."

"I would like to see you try." Rose bantered.

"What kind of vampire are you! You can't even generate your arm?! Low life." Rose said and spit on the floor.

Orien takes a few steps back as the floor begins to melt.

"GIVE ME BACK THE HELLHOUNDS!" Rose screams. Zeus flinches and biting his lips to stop himself from getting angrier. Rose noticed none of them make an effort to call for the hounds.

"Bastard." She said and whistles.

Soon, they all heard howling followed by screeching noise made by their claws. Rose smiles when the hellhounds howls. For Rose it's the sign of happiness for them but for the others, it's a very disturbing noise. Only a person like Rose could hear their howling without any problems.

"Make them stop!" Thana said as she put her hands on her ears. Rose held her hand up.

"My father will hear about this," Rose said and walks outside with the hounds.

"YOU WILL PAY FOR THIS!!" Rose laughs evilly.

"IM THE DAUGHTER OF SATAN AND ANGEL! I WOULD LIKE TO SEE YOU TRY TO BEAT MY PARENTS." Rose shouts.

Thana and the others all walk outside.

"I can kill him just like that!" Thana said.

"Patience my child," Kora said.

"We're all smarter and more educated than them," Kharis added. Dominika shifted and let Thana and Aurelia climb on her.

The queens get in their car and drive to the village that was burned.

ESSENCE'S POV

I watch as my dad and my brothers training in the courtyard.

"What's up with dad lately?" I asked my sisters in law.

"We have no idea." Moana joined us and sit next to Luce.

"Where have you been?" Luce asked her.

"Umm... My room."

"Really? We haven't seen you for like... Days." Moana chuckle.

"Rose was here." They both nod.

"Are you sure you're ready to be a mother Moana?" Ricca asked.

"We're using protection."

"Take extra caution please." Moana nod.

"Mondo is so... Weak for a future alpha." I was surprised to hear Ricca said that.

"Cyran as well." Luce supported her. Moana and I look at each other.

"You two on pills?" Moana asked. They both chuckle.

"No, just look at them. Even Essence can beat them now." That's true. I've been training a lot with Thana that I could beat them simply by pushing them away from me.

"They getting ready for something," I said. They all look at me.

"What do you mean?"

"Thana told me a group of rogue wanted to start another war. Dad just wants to prepare them for battle. We all agree they both aren’t like Aura. She's a warrior and a Luna. Mondo and Cyran... Just someone who lives behind dads name." I finished.

"I actually agreed with you on that," Ricca said and Luce nod.

"Face it. Our Husband can't even protect us." Luce said. Mona chuckle.

"Mine can. She will protect all of us." Ricca chuckle.

"Yup. She can. And Essence's mate will have the time of her life with yours killing those people who hurt us." A loud crash startled us all.

"MONDO! GET UP!" Dad yells.

"YOU BULLIED YOUR SISTER BECAUSE OF BEING WEAK! NOW LOOK AT YOURSELF!" Dad screams at Mondo's face. Mondo clenches his fist.

"Use your anger to Attack me!" Dad taunts.

We all turned to Luce when we heard gagging sound.

"You okay?" Ricca asked.

"Yes. Just morning sickness." Moana and I gasped.

"Are you...... CONGRATULATION!!" I beamed. Luce blushed.

"Cyran and I went to the doctors at the village but Thana said she will send her family's doctor. Apparently, the castle has their own medical building." I look at Luce.

"Thana knows?!" She nods.

"I want to surprised everyone tonight but Ricca notice it first, and I just gag in front of you two." I chuckle. Moana went to hugged Luce. I stand and went to hug her as well.

"Congratulation," I whisper and she pats my back.

"Well, I would like to thank your mate. She gave me and Cyran an elixir." I smile.

"I will tell her." I pull away.

"Looks like you can Luce," Ricca said and I looked at Thana. She smiles at us.

"Your welcome Luce." Luce smiles.

"Umm. Essence. Can you follow me to the lake?" I nod and took Thana’s hand. We stop by the lake and she sighed.

"I miss you." She said.

"I missed you too." She sits down on the grass and I followed.

"How's your day?"

"Bad." I wrapped my arms around her.

"Why bad?"

"I didn't get to kill the person who burned the loyalist village." She rested her head on my shoulder.

"It's okay. You will have your chance." I said.

"Yea..." She said.

"Thana... You sound depressed."

"I am." I rested my head on hers.

"Thana... Everything will be alright." She pulls away and stretches.

"How's your day?" She asked me.

"It's okay. Mom taught me how to use a spear." Thana nod.

"Easy right?" I chuckle.

"Not really." Thana chuckle.

"Here..." She said and handed me a tiny box.

"What's this?"

"A ring." I open the box and gasped as I saw a very beautiful red Ruby.

"Wow..." Thana smile.

"You like?" I nod vigorously.

"Very."

"Here..." She took the ring and slide it to my finger.

"This Ruby is special." I glance at her.

"What do you mean?" Thana chuckle.

"This is a very special Ivanov Ruby. It's a ruby that goes from generation to generation in my mother's family. And now I'm giving it to you." She finished.

"Wow... So there's a lot of history embedded in this Ruby?" Thana nod.

"Also... Mommy wanted me to tell you about Budapest." I laugh.

"I remember."

"Good. We will be going the day after tomorrow. But I have to warn you."

"About what?" Thana scratches her head.

"Mommy's family... They... Can be very... Embarrassing." I raised my brows.

"Just don't listen to them," Thana said. I laugh.

"Okay honey. I won't listen to them. Except if it's about you."

"Please... Don't listen to them." I chuckled.

"Okay. I won't."

"And don't believe what my aunt will say. She's a bitch." I smack her shoulder.

"Be good." She rubs her shoulder.

"Essence I'm nervous. You will be meeting Mommy side of the family." I chuckled.

"Don't be. All family is embarrassing. Even for royals." She smiled at me. She leans in and kissed me.

"I love you, Essence," I smirk and pushes her to the grass.

"I... Love you too." I said and leans in.

I let my thigh rested on her middle and attaches our body's together as I explored her mouth with my tongue. Thana moans in my mouth.

"I'm so horny right now..." Sence decided to pop out. I pull away and licks her nose.

"Flushed queen much," I said teasingly.

"Damn. I can't wait for the day I'm exploring your body." Thana said, panting. I smile sheepishly.

"You saw me naked, far too many times." Thana got up to a sitting position.

"You one fine woman." She said and stand.

"Come on. Let's go home, I can smell Rose coming." I chuckle.

"That girl always go to my house now." Thana chuckle.

"I wonder if the arousal smell in your room is better now?" I shake my head.

"Still there. I wish I could block every opening." I chuckle.

We begin to walk towards the house.

"Look...." She said and looks around.

"What?" "At you." She said and kissed me. Thana laughs.

"Look at your face! Priceless." She said and laughs again.

"Someone having fun." She pulls me closer to her.

"I am. I'm with the realm most beautiful woman."

"Can we just have s*x already!!!" Sence again interrupted us.

"Shut up Sence," I said mentally.

"I can't! Our mate is one hell of a woman. And she has every package we need. Can we just connect already? I want to mate.....!!!" Sence said. I sigh.

"Shut up or I'll send you to a very lonely part of my mind," I warn her. Thana looks at me as if I crazy. I smile sheepishly and hugs her side.

I smile and enjoy this moment.
