Chapter 27 — Evelyn’s POV
Dimitri walked downstairs with me. I held his hand tightly because I had no idea who was I going to meet. Dimitri didn’t say anything to me and I didn’t say anything to him. I didn’t want to shock him by telling that I don’t even know who my own parents were.
We walked inside a living room and I immediately noticed two similar people who were Dimitri’s parents beside them I saw two very unknown faces that resembled my appearance.
“Evelyn!” The women cried as she hugged me. She pressed on my back tightly and embraced me like it was the end of the world or something. I smiled and tapped her back awkwardly. Why was she hugging me again?
After a long moment she separated and kissed my cheeks. Then she studied my state and threw it all on Dimitri.
