The days had been getting better, surprisingly so. My business was finally getting back on track. There were still a few issues here and there, but nothing I couldn’t manage. Slowly, life in London was beginning to feel like some sort of normal.
Today, though, was a little different. I had my first doctor’s appointment since moving here. It was just a routine check-up, but still, I hadn’t been to see a doctor since I arrived in London a month ago. Time had flown by, but now, I needed to focus on the baby’s health.
