Joseph had now reached the appropriate age for getting married and it was something his mother was constantly thinking about it.
She was going to try to get Joseph to meet a girl she considered to be virtuous, and about whom everyone spoke well of when it came to the charitable work she did for others. In short, instead of being waited on, she was someone who helped others.
Without saying a word to his father, his mother, along with the girl’s mother, paved the way for a meeting between Joseph and the girl.
