Alexander court was filled with silence. The great oak door cracked opened, Laura walked in faintly .

Her dress was plain grey,her scarred hands were grasped in front of her ,her hair was pulled back and scattered, exposing her fresh purple scar on her temple from the lords wife attack.

Alexander didn't stand he sat down on his Black throne a goblet of red wine voice was steady and hoarse. "you summoned me". Laura said.

Alexander swirled is wine. it look like blood in firelight he set the globet down.

The sound echoed like a gunshot. "tell me Laura" he said. "why should I believe you are not a spy.

There was dead silence.
