TUNA BAIT
TUNA POV.
The bedroom was Extravagant decorated with featuring published marble that would cost an entire life of a peasant to achieve .Across the room the bed threw light across the staircase which curved like a movie scene.
My voice was heard echoing angrily calling out for a maid.
A maid hurried in,
i held her dress, my hands landed across her face.
"are you deaf" I spatted out.
"am Sorry my lady." The maid dropped to her knees instantly apologising.
"find out who Laura is. I ordered, my voice ripping through the room.
"who ma'am." The maid asked face written in confusion.
I didn't let finish my hands tore through her face.
"I'm sorry my lady", I will go find out immediately" she spoke out, her hands trembling as she stood up.
my gaze shifted towards the mirror in my room, It actually presented the full bright picture of my room. My lips curved into a dangerous smirk.
"When I get hold of Laura she's dead". I whispered loud enough for others to ear.
LAURA POV
I was with my grandma feeding her some food and after I was done I fed her some medicine.
I picked up my coat leaving for work, in hurry to avoid been late.
Few minutes later I arrived at gate. I heaved a deep breath.
l stepped into to the gate.
Madam Evelyn lips curled in a soft smile, she waved her hands towards me, for me to come
I sprinted to her.
"I apologized for what happened yesterday, from today on you clean the Nathan court." Madam Evelyn said her voice was loud and clear.
I grew confused .
Why can't clean outside the court again."
I asked trying to know why i was no longer allowed to clean outside the court
" you aren't New here Laura anymore."' she shut me off. "Cleaning outside the court is meant for the new maids."
I took off my coat and picked up the bucket of water and a soap with out hesitation. Stepping towards the Nathan Court.
A few seconds later, i was atb the Nathan court .I knocked
"come in" A soft voice came through.
I opened the door, my eyes widened in shock. Grappled with what I saw.
Nathan was naked with his back towards me.He was tall, six feet,red hair, he was so huge and hot that I began to blush.
Then suddenly he turned back, my eyes went off him, turning backward from him. as i placed my hands on my eyes covering them.
It was then that he realized something.
I am sorry, I thought it was one of the guard."
Stretching his hands to his robe, putting them on.
"I am Sorry again." He said. You look now."
My head switched backward.
Immediately my eyes landed on hhis face.
I was more shocked than ever. It wasn't only his red hair that stood different, his eyebrows where perfectly carved, his eyes were so dazzling just like they claimed.
His lips curled into a shy smile.
And for a second, I felt like he was my whole world.
I stepped towards him, my head bow respectfully, i was about to bend down to drop my bucket, when my head accidentally hits his chest.
" I'm sorry. I Spoke out.
NATHAN POV.
I was confused and why she had a orange and vanilla scent.
I've never felt this before.
"how is your head " I asked still confused .
"i'm fine,I should be asking you about your chest."
She placed her hand on my chest rubbing them gently, our eyes met for a few seconds and I shyly took them away. she kept staring at me, As her beautiful smile caught my heart.
she wasn't that kind of beauty that screamed .she didn't need to. The way the light got confused around her. catching on the curve of her cheek, then falling into the silent of her eyes, like it found somewhere it belong.
Her hair was not just long but it was dark, like the color of the midnight.
when she smiled at me."oh my gosh! It wasn't practiced pretty, it was real.
That moment I knew this wasn't attraction, This was territory, she just walked into my chest and put her name on it .
LAURA POV
l was surprised seeing him staring at me like a dead corpse .
" Sir are you okay. " I asked my face written in deep concern.
he snapped out of his thought.
"yes of course." As a soft, calm smile curled through his lips.
"okay I'm glad." I said politely.
He stepped towards the desk. He sat there like a prince, his drafted into a book. His ink stroked on it "a poem"
My swiping through the room.
The room was extravagant and every item cost more than my life so i had to be careful touching them.
I stepped towards him, He was writing.
My gaze locked in him.
He noticed.
" Can you write." he asked.
"NO," I said nodding my head.
"What if I were to teach you."
My eyes widened, and for a second I thought it might actually be a joke.
"thanks ,I would be glad."
"I would and if you would like we can start now."
he pulled me gently his eyes locked on me.
My heart racing fast, has my gaze locked on him.
He started by teaching me some alphabet letters and asking how to pronounce it. And the one i didn't pronounce correctly we both laughed.
"You know, I being long I laughed and am grateful for it." I said my hands locked together.
"I'm glad glad to be of help" He whispered.
I shut up and went on cleaning.
few hours, I was done I picked up my bucket, was about to leave.
I turned back again to thank him.
And suddenly, he pull me closer hitting his chest.
he brought out a necklace.
he unhooked, placed it on my neck.
" I may not see you again, i put this on you so you won't forget me and I won't also,who knows you may not come to my court again".
My lips smashed into a soft smile.
And I stepped outside in hurry, my gaze locked on the necklace
Then someone stepped toward me calling out my name.
" Laura." the voice called out, It ripped through my bone.
My head switched black, in shock to see who was calling me.
My jaw dropped.
As my eyes caught on a bright stunning girl. Her hair was packed in a ponytail. Her nose was pointed, her eyes were dark brown, it shone so beautifully.
Her skin shone as the sun. Her hair was also in red along with her eyebrows. "Laura" she called again,
"How do I know you." I said in shock of my name being called.
My name is Zinna, I'm a maid who also worked here."
" ok." I said trying to leave.
" Are you coming out of the Nathan Court."
"yes, why do you ask."
"His he nice." She asked again.
"why do you ask."
I mean't no harm, I was just curious. I was just wondering if the Rumors were true and I'm taking the next shift after you."
Her hand stretched toward me .
" Can we be friends."
My eyes locked on her confused.
Before i could say anything.
Footsteps ripped through from miles away. It meant it was coming towards us.
few seconds later,
A girl about our age appeared, stepping in fury towards me.
Her skin was bright has a star.
Her eyes were blue and beautiful.
Her ears was perfectly shaped that you could see how they glowed.
She was tall, her hair was floating as she stepped in fury towards me.
It was tinted in gold, she stepped in front of me, a hot slap landed across my face.
"why did you slap me."
"you are Laura right" she screamed
My eyes locked on her in confusion.
"you are Laura right." She said her body boiling with rage.
"yes" My eyes caught on those expensive diamonds on her dress,her glittering shoes,and her ear rings which were made to be suited for her.
I knew she was rich, and I dare not say a word .
" you slept with Alexander yesterday."
My cheeks flushed, I was so embarrassed l.
"I have been searching all over for you, you this wretched, filthy, human .
A sharp slap ripped across my face.
"how dare you" she shouted.
Tears spilled down my face.
"how dare you sleep with with Alexander the next time I see you in the Alexander Court I'm killing you."
She was about to leave in fury, when zinna pull her back, gripping her hair tight and yanking it.
"You think because you are rich. you can talk to my friend that way, the next time you lay your hands on her, am not only killing you I will amputate your body into pieces." Her grip loosened on tuna's hair.
Tuna head switched backward a slap landed across Zinna face.
Turning into a big argument.
few minute later, Zinna defeated tuna stood up adjusting her dress.
Tuna bolted up in fury adjusting her dress.she shouted furiously.
"I am reporting you to the Lord dutch, how dare a filthy maid like lay your hands on me. by this noon you will be executed I promise you that."
I dropped to.my knees apologizing to her.
Zinna shouting at me.
" Stand up laura, she wouldn't dare."
