before the sun rose again, the two leaders had taken care of a few things: The dead goblins where buried, the wounded were nursed back to health, and Bleux made a announcement, so the squad leaders lined up their men.
'I just got news that Jaka has died, so I'm going to find his body and bury him. If you want to come with me you can, if you want to stay, then stay with Jaren.'
It was obvious what was happening, the group, the clan was splitting into two. First, Boksen went to stand beside Bleux, there was no hesitation in his pace as he took his place. 'I will follow you everywhere Bleux, Jaka deserved better than he got handed.' together with with him, his whole group followed.
Eli was next to stand beside Bleux, though she looked at Jaren with pity. She made the decision, not because she had against Jaren, she just owed Bleux more than her life. With that, her group also followed.
'Are there anymore who want to come?'
Bleux asked for the last time: He looked to the injured Gooba, he looked to the exhausted Pipin, he even looked at the wild piranhas that were still busy eating that beast.
'If not then we'll get to going.' The whole group prepared to leave before a 'Wait.' stopped them in their tracks. It was Arm the armless goblin who stepped out off the woods.
He stepped to Jaren 'Bleux was the only one who came to check on me when I was wounded, you just killed my boss. They may be alright with that,' he looked at the piranhas 'but I'm done with what your idiocy.'
With that, Bleux left. Seeing him walk away felt like a piece of his heart fell of. 'You want to go north now boss?' Pipin asked. 'We will go soon, let me be alone for a while.' Jaren responded.
He then walked of, into a direction that did not matter.
Dead leaves crunched under his feet as he slumped past the trees, then he stopped. When he was sure he was alone, he sat against a tree and rested his face on his hands.
Have I done it again? have I pushed another person whom I care for out of my life he asked as tears ran past his fingers. He began, reflecting on his life's, asking himself questions he was to afraid too ask.
Did someone out there miss him. He didn't think so, after all, he had been through all this before. First with his sister, then with Bleux, and now again with Bleux. He always seemed to push people away, of course he made some friends before he died. But if he stayed alive long enough, he was sure he would push them away too.
it was just something about him that did that.
'Darn it, seems like I came to late.' a voice echoed through the forest. With a surprised 'huh,' Jaren kicked his face back up, He jumped back to his feet. 'who is there.' Jaren looked all around him, no body was to be seen. 'No matter, your friendship can still be saved.' can it be? 'Yes, it's me again, God. It's been a while hasn't it lad.'
'What do you want with me? Why are you always following me?' Jaren asked, still flicking his head around like a chicken.
'First of all, if you want to look at a representation of me, look at the ground.' Jaren did that and saw that a bunch of leaves had formed a face similar to that of Micheal Jackson.
How does he even know of him.
the face began to move it's lips
'Awsome artist right, second of all, I told you last time why I followed you. because I still need you.'
'Why do you need me?'
'That will be explained, but now, it would just be too confusing for you. There are just a few things that you need to know. You're one of the few people I can communicate with, and if you are going to do what i need you to do, you need to be able to unite, either by force or friendship. So you better start making up with Bleux.'
The face got blown away by the wind and the voice started to go with it 'I will see you on the next one chap.' were the last words to be heard. 'At least someone still needs me.' Jaren said to himself.
Jaren soon went back to his group, and together they went north.
