She looked over at him and grabbed her underwear pulling it up as fast as she could. “You f****d my sister, I’m gonna f*****g kill you” as he stormed over to the gate. “I didn’t-“Gabriel got up before the door swung open. Before she could get up, her brother had landed a blow on Gabriel. “Stop” she screamed as she ran in front of Gabriel. She put her hands out to block her brother from landing another blow. Gabriel grabbed her arm, “I deserve it, I shouldn’t have touched you”, he said softly. Those words made her brother's blood boil even more. “Stop it big brother!” She yelled. “He was only helping me,” she said gently as she held onto Gabriel’s hand. her brother threw his hands up in disbelief. “How is touching you helping you. He’s dead”. He screamed trying to lunge at Gabriel again. “Enough” she roared in a loud voice that shook the walls. “When you go into heat, when your body tortures you from the inside you can make that decision”. She said pushing her brother back. “I’m sorry man, your right I shouldn’t have touched her. I’m so sorry but she was in so much pain. I couldn’t bear it.” He said almost crying. “Don’t apologize to him, you didn’t do anything wrong. It’s the first time in my life I didn’t want to kill myself while I was having a heat episode”. She yelled at Gabriel with tears in her eyes. She looked at her brother, “and you, this is my body. I’ve spent my life having someone else decide what to do with it. Not anymore” she yelled at him. Her words cut like glass. She was right, she wasn’t a little kid and Gabriel would never hurt her. He couldn’t make those decisions for her. At least it was Gabriel he decided. Her father came in at that moment. “What’s going on?” He asked. The color dropped from all their faces. None of them wanted to tell him what they were arguing about. The color returned to her face first, “Gabriel helped me out of the bath and big brother here was upset since I was naked. He decided to punch Gabriel, but all is well. We worked it out” she smiled still able to give her dad the puppy eyes that made him forget anyone was in trouble. “Good, you need to get on the road” he said. She nodded and grabbed her stuff. “I’ll see you in a week, thank you for before” she winked. “It’s appreciated. Sorry about my brother,” she said as she tried to hide her blushed cheeks. “See you in a week, be safe,” he said as he turned around and went to his bed. “I’ll miss you” he whispered under his breath, but she heard him too. She smirked at him and mouthed I’ll miss you too. How the hell did she hear that? I have amazing wolf hearing and I couldn’t have heard that. Her brother and father didn’t hear it. That girl is something special.
