She got in the car with her brother. They started to drive, his hands were tense and his breathing uneven. “Breathe big brother, your gonna pass out” she chuckled. “I’m sorry about before, I-i” he paused. She patted his knee “the last time you saw me I was 5, part of you still sees me as a little kid. It’s ok but it’s not Gabriel’s fault. He was more uncomfortable about it than you were” she chuckled. “What does that mean?” He inquired. Every 5 seconds he was asking if he should stop if I was ok. He looked like he was going to pass out at any moment. I mean he couldn’t not with my screaming, but he wanted to. It’s Not his fault I went into heat in his cell” she said sadly. “I can’t believe you had s*x with my best friend. This is awkward” he said confused. “We didn’t um have s*x. He just made the heat pain subside” she said blushing. “You mean you two didn’t knock boots,” he said shyly. “Knock boots, is this the Wild West?” She busts out laughing. “No, we didn’t knock boots” she started snorting. “Omg, you still snort when you laugh? Yes!” He said laughing. “So, he was only helping?” He asked uncomfortably “yes, now can we talk about something, anything else. Please” she begged. He sighed in relief; he didn’t want to talk about this anymore. He put on some tunes, and they laughed about things from their childhood. The laughter died down midway through the trip, “what happened to you, little sis?” He asked concerned. She sighed “I finally get my brother back, let’s not Talk about it yet. I just want to enjoy being with you” he nodded in approval. They talked about dad for a while. She was growing concerned, the trip was taking longer than expected. Her next heat should have come already. “You look, nervous little sister,” he said. She smiled slightly “we need to go faster, I’m already late for my next wave. You do not want to be in the car with me when it hits” she said seriously. he chuckled, “I remember your tantrums as a toddler, I’ll be ok” he laughed. “Go faster, I’ll blow out the windows,” she said seriously. “Jesus, how bad does it get?” She let her eyes drop, “remember when Mr. Timon’s got his arm ripped off in the woodchopper. All the screaming?” She spoke. “That bad” as he stepped on the gas. “It’s worse” as she looked queasy. They finally made it to the edge of the road. The rest of the way had to be hiked to the cave. Halfway up the trail, she felt her heat phase kick in. She grabbed the stuff from her brother. “This is where you leave me” she smiles. He did not look happy. “I’m taking you to this cave” he demanded. “Big brother, you should go. It’s coming” she motioned down. He started to get a whiff of her heat smell. “Omg that smells awful” she laughed “that’s because we’re related” as she started running up the trail. You could hear howling start in the distance. She left her brother in the wind as she ran as fast as she could. Part of her hoped he just stopped and turned around, but it wasn’t who he was. The pain was starting but she had to make it deep underground before she could stop. She managed to get where she was going. She fell on the bed and started screaming in pain. She hasn’t seen her brother in a while, she hoped he left once she made it in the cave entrance. The pain was unbearable she was screaming and convulsing. She hadn’t realized her brother was standing over her watching, she was too distracted by the pain. She started to shift her bones, breaking, and reforming them over and over to forget the pain in her insides. She was so focused she didn’t hear her brother screaming at her until he was shaking her “stop breaking your bones, you’re going to kill yourself” he was screaming. She stopped but the pain was so bad all she was doing was screaming. She managed to get out “it makes it hurt less-you sound like Gabriel-go, I’ll be fine” amongst her screaming. He stayed the entire time till finally it passed, and she collapsed. As soon as he was sure she was breathing, he left.
