He made it up to his room. The past few days have been utterly exhausting. He fell on the bed, fully clothed, and passed out. He awoke with the sun fully risen in the sky. He must have slept in late. He made it to the office to find his father sitting in the chair. This can’t be good he thought to himself. His father had been M.I.A. the past few days. “You look, terrible son, I let you sleep in. Yesterday must have been much worse than I thought” he said as he shuffled the papers on his desk. He looked pleasantly surprised at the great work his son had done in his absence. He smiled in approval at his son, but his face was still long. “What’s wrong dad?” He blurted out.
He was still tired, and it had been a weird few day. His father took a deep breath “it’s Gabriel rather Gabriel’s wolf. He’s out of control. I don’t know what to do. I’m concerned he might break out. He’s never been like this”. He said before he sighed loudly. “Gabriel said his wolf was having a hard time with Alyssa being gone when I spoke to him last night,” he said. The father's eyebrows raised “you spoke to Gabriel last night?” He asked. “Yes. Then eventually he lost control and I had to go”. He stated. “Hmm, he’s been Gabriel more than he’s ever been since he turned” lifting his chin. His son nodded in agreement. “It seems your sister has had quite the effect on him. I’m not sure how I feel about that, to be honest”, He stated plainly. “Dad, she said something to me last night. And she’s right. We still see her as the 5-year-old we left behind but she’s almost 18”. His father nodded in agreement. “I don’t know how I feel about her and Gabriel either but there is definitely something strange going on. They both seem um happy I guess when they are together”, Logan said shrugging. His father nodded in agreement. “Hopefully we can keep him in that cage till she’s back. A whole damn week is going to be rough”. He looked out the window “for all of us” he said sadly.
