Chapter 14It was a chilly night as I walked down the deserted street to my rented apartment. I pulled up the collar of my jacket above my scarf and zipped it up. I started thinking of all the personal history I have had in this city. The memories are good and bad. This was the city where I started my new life after my wife died. The city where I met Cindy O’Brian. I looked up, and the moon was rising above the Ponte Vecchio; I stopped and stared at it a moment.
