Chapter 51“Do you have the warrants, John?”
“I do, Jim. We are all set.”
“Good, I am on my way. I will meet you and the team in five minutes.”
The plan was that Jim Dempsey would serve the warrant on the business location, and his partner John Ramsey would serve a warrant on the residence across the street from Bob and Sandra White at the same time. After knocking and identifying themselves, both FBI teams entered both locations. Jim immediately took out his phone and called John Ramsey.
“John, anything?”
“No. The place is empty. I have the team going through everything. Dusting for prints, etcetera, and you?”
“The same. I guess seeing Warren Steelgrave looking through the window spooked them. I will meet you back at the office.”
