Chapter 46My plane landed on time at 9:00 a.m. I had my rental car and was on my way by 9:30. Tustin was not far from the airport, and I was driving by Persian Rug Imports within fifteen minutes. It was located in a small industrial section of town. It was the typical industrial park; all the buildings were concrete tilt-ups about five thousand square feet, all located in an area about six blocks square. I drove by, and it appeared deserted. I drove around the block and parked near a corner of a side street under a tree. From this vantage point, I could observe the front door and parking lot.
