Ila turns towards the voice, her face lighting up with joy. “Katie! Congratulations, girl!”
Katie snaps her fingers before pulling Ila into a hug. She whispers close to her ear, thinking I couldn’t hear them. “If you are being held hostage, say you’re hungry for Mexican, and I will get you out of here. My bots are locked and loaded.”
What the f**k? What the hell are bots? And why are they locked and loaded?
Ila pulls away from her hold. “I’m fine… Katie, I’d like to introduce you to my mate, Alpha Kane, from the Devil’s Mountain Pack, and his two Betas. Axel and… umm… Graham.”
