Nadine’s POV I walked away from the cripple as quickly as I could. f**k, that didn’t go as planned. I thought fate was on my side when I happened to see the cripple and her decrepit old babysitter walking down the hallway towards the bathroom. I was hoping to scare her into submission, but I was interrupted. Who was that guy anyway? He said he was Ila’s attorney, but I don’t believe that. Maybe Daddy can get rid of him for me because I can see he might end up being a problem. I inwardly growl as I hit the button to summon the elevator. That blind b***h has been a thorn in my family’s side since she turned eighteen. She seduced my uncle for money, and I’m pretty sure she had something to do with my auntie’s death. Daddy wouldn’t give me all the details of her death even though I begged.
