Belle watched her with curiosity in her eyes. The way Tomiwa after was as if she had something up her sleeves. Or she had been doing something that did fall through eventuality.
And now, she felt bad about it.
“Let’s eat up!” Tomiwa said, smiling now. She clapped just once and then proceeded to set the table for the two of them.
“I know you might be wondering where he is. But don’t worry. It is just the two of us here.” Tomiwa said to her.
That peaked her hopes up. Did that mean that she found get out from here? At least, from last night, she had seen how apologetic Tomiwa had become.
Perhaps, Belle reasoned now, she could use that to her advantage now. After all, if Tomiwa was acting this way, guiltily, then it would be only fair if she used that to her own benefit.
