"MUM I DONT WANT TO DO ANYTHING, don't pull up surprises, I'll disappoint you," i said to my mum over the phone.
"Nonsense, you are turning the big three zero and you don't want to turn up?"
"You sound like Rebecca" i chuckled.
"I just want you to be happy baby" her voice was calm
"I am happy, i just don't want to celebrate this year," i thought about Katherine, throwing my birthday a few days after her passing is just too cruel. I don't feel like it and i won't celebrate it no matter how hard my mum pushed.
"I've got to go, mum, work's calling, i love you!" I hung up, tired of my mum's constant pushing. Damon's arms wrapped around my waist while setting the dining.
