"Wangseja, something does not feel right." His personal guard stated as he eyed the trees surrounding them.
"We have hunted in these parts before. Don't worry." The Crown prince stated in a confident way. He decide to wear a dongdari, topped with a scarlet jeonbok with an embroidery of a dragon with 4 toes sewn on the front and the shoulders with a gwangdae around his waist. He had his usual baji underneath along with his boots. On his head was the morip that was adorned with peacock feathers, tassel, a dragon jade disc on the front and paeyeong.
He had around 10 guards with him. He was supposed to have twice as many but he thought 10 would be enough.
They were riding through the woods to the usual hunting grounds. It was spring and the wind was just right., you could see the thick foliage of leaves up above. You could hear the hooves of the horses as they walked through the path. The wind was gentle.
But even he felt uneasy this time. Nothing has ever went wrong whenever they went hunting in these parts before. He just showed them that he was not worried as well.
"Everything's going to be fi-" He was cut off when an arrow went flying a mere inch away from his face. This caused the horse to panic and made him fall off the horse.
Shades of black suddenly came out of the trees.
"PROTECT THE PRINCE!" All the guards surrounded him shielding in a circular formation.
