Before Daniel had time to process in his head what was really happening, or better, if what was happening was true, Elizabeth threw herself in his arms and clung into him like the air had just been sucked from her body some seconds ago that she thought they were parting ways again.
She took his lips on hers in such a desperate way that left him dumbstruck. "Please don't leave me," she begged and once again crashed her lips on his. "Please don't go, don't leave me again. Stay with me, Daniel please."
It took him a few seconds to figure out if what he was hearing was true, and after that, he gripped her waist tightly and flushed her in his body impossibly closer, kissing her with all his might and desperation of thinking he had just lost her some seconds ago.
