LILY'S POV
Kane picked up on the second ring.
That surprised me. Seven in the morning and the head of the Grand Council answered his own phone like he'd been expecting it.
"Miss Blackwood," he said.
"Alpha Kane." I looked at Mason across the table. "We have information about a Covenant facility in northern Montana. We believe they're holding a Luna-born there. Possibly others."
A pause.
The pause of someone receiving confirmation of something they'd already suspected.
"How recent is your information," he said.
"Twelve hours. It came from inside the compound."
"The compound on former Stoneclaw territory."
"Yes."
"I'm going to need everything you have," he said. "Documentation. Source. Location specifics. Today."
"We can be there by noon."
"I'll be here. Miss Blackwood."
"Yes."
