LILY'S POV
Day fifteen.
"The first thing is range under pressure."
Harper wasn't at the table this morning. She was standing in the centre of the room which meant today was already different before she'd finished the sentence.
"Everything we've done has been controlled," she said. "Same room. Same wolf. Same conditions every morning." She looked at me. "The Council chamber won't be any of those things. It'll be forty people and competing agendas and your own nerves trying to pull the power sideways. You need to be able to aim through all of that."
"How do we simulate it."
"We don't simulate it." She looked at the door.
