The next morning, Lincoln is already gone. Which is perfect.
Except, Steph is already waiting for me on the stairs.
She smiles at me, and waves excitedly. “Good morning! I’m going to take you downstairs for breakfast now!”
Cloud will have to wait.
The same routine, every morning. Lincoln looks at his phone while he eats, the serving women stand in a line. I’m getting used to it and tired of it at the same time.
“Do you want to come with me to do training with the guys again today?” He asks.
I shake my head. Absolutely, definitely, not.
“I can’t really take you to have fun today, and you can’t leave the house without me. If you don’t come you’ll have to stay here by yourself all day.”
