Last night felt like a fever dream. Getting that text from Lillia and having to sneak her out of Linc’s house was weird enough without adding in the lady with the white eyes. I’m pretty sure she’s an earth siren, which I’ve only ever heard of being dangerous, so I definitely don’t want Lillia anywhere near her.
And apparently, she’s Linc’s mate.
I get it. I can't blame him. I was even considering doing the same thing with Lillia at first.
It feels so good to have her home with me again, even though I know my dad is going to feel like he “won”.
We didn't get back until almost 4am, and she passed out in the car. I brought her up to my bed, and she was so tired she didn’t even stir.
I only get a couple of hours of sleep before I get woken up by Linc blowing up my phone.
