The Luna we waited for

Chapter 6

We started off running, I could see so well even moving that fast. I could see the small animals scurrying away as our paws made impact on the ground. I could hear everything. I was so confused but Marcy was quiet so I had no choice but to enjoy and explore this new person i've discovered I truly am. This was amazing, beyond anything I've ever dreamed, but it had to be a dream right? I've noticed in wolf form I can hear their thoughts. They aren't speaking out loud but I can hear them inside my head, Marcy says this is called a mind link. Now its not just marcys voice in there. We began to slow down when I noticed some lights in the distance, it looked like we were coming upon a small village. The alpha decided to speak and it shot chills through my whole body, Marcy was literally purring, the other men noticed the hair down my spine sticking straight up and gave a small smile.

"We are coming upon a village soon, this is our pack territory, although you are very different to me, you are no different to the rest of the pack right now, and you will have to endure the same initiation as the rest of the pack members have. It is to ensure the safety of everyone" he said.

I wanted to question what he meant, I was curious. Am I gonna have to fight somebody? Am I gonna be beaten? What did he mean I am "different to him"? What is the reasoning for any of this? I thought to myself. He gave me a glance that said the conversation was over. But I had to ask

"Are you going to kill me, why am I here?"

He smirked very slyly, not enough to give me any confidence at all and then he responded

"No one here will harm you intentionally, you will learn soon enough why we came for you." he said.

Okay, that was enough for reassurance but I still didn't understand anything. The alpha instructed the guards to take me to the cells and ordered them not to allow anyone down except for the beta. Who was the beta? And what would he come down for? Luckily I've read enough to understand some terminology they are using, but I still couldn't put my finger on why the alpha made me feel so funny. The guards then introduced themselves to me, Alex he was the biggest brown and white wolf he was the head guard, then Eli who was solid gray, and Miles the solid brown wolf who seemed to be the most caring and compassionate. They suggested that we shift and walk down to the cells where they would give me more information. Miles tossed me a big t-shirt and a pair of basketball shorts and advised that I go behind the tree to shift because I would be naked afterwards. I appreciated the heads up because i was too overwhelmed to think that one through.
