"It"s Jyp - don"t you recognise me?" Benson"s nose wrinkled in disgust and stepped back to avoid contact. "Where"s the usher?" He appealed for assistance to the congregation at large and in answer to his prayer two exquisitely attired attendants appeared from nowhere and took up positions either side of Jyp. "Get this tramp out of here before the bride arrives." One of the attendants laid a firm hand on Jyp"s arm. "Excuse me sir, would you mind?" Jyp couldn"t believe this was all happening to him. After all the trouble he had taken to get to the service in time. He made a last gesture. "But Mr Benson, don"t you recognise me, I"m Jyp – you know, Jefferson Patbottom. I"m your Best Man, remember?" As the reality of the intolerable situation began to sink in, Benson clutched his head. "
