Close call:
Joel flung the car door open and jumped into the passenger seat. You could hear the wolf's nails scrape across the pavement as it came barreling after them. Joel shut the car door just in time. The wolf smashed into the car. It began clawing and scratching at the glass.
“Go f*****g go!” Joel screamed as he leaned away from the door.
Nora slammed the car into reserve and backed the car up. The wolf was biting at the car trying to stay with it. Nora threw the car into drive and peeled out. The wolf was fast staying with the car the whole length of the parking lot. It kept slamming itself into the side of the car. The car rocked each time the wolf did.
