Chapter 22 (Alone)

Leo

“What do you mean you didn’t catch her?!?!” I roar out in anger 

I hate rogues their careless and stupid but right now I need them. I promised them once I become king they’ll be part of my pack and they be able to do whatever f*ck they want. That’s if I don’t kill them first!!

“S...Sir she disappeared...I...th...think someone else took her” he stutters

I back hand him “Useless!”

“F*ck my plan to become King is falling apart” I mumble to myself 

“I think I can help you with that” I turn and see Alpha Ian 

I raise an eye brow “How?”

“First promise me something”

“What?” I growl out 

“Revenge on Alec! I want him to suffer!....Also land and money lots of it.”

I can feel his hate towards my nephew and it makes me happy.

“Deal” Once I’m king I’ll have all the power to do whatever I want.

“Good but first you must know something about Sarah. She’s not what she seems. She’s not weak. Fifteen years ago when my father was still Alpha and I was a teen my pack spotted a white wolf near our pack lands. My father wanted it! But the wolf was too fast and his scent kept disappearing. Later on we discovered he kept coming for his mate. My father tortured her for information and we discovered their pack hidden in the woods. We attacked but they were too powerful. My father was able to capture a women and her child. She refused to shift or show her powers but once we threaten her pup she shifted into her white wolf. My pack had big plans for her and her pup but that stupid b*tch escaped with her pup. We followed her and when we caught up to her. Her pup was gone and she had slit her own throat. The pup was unique nothing I’ve ever seen before. She had silver hair and green eyes. I knew once I laid eyes on Sarah she was that pup.”

Sarah is a white wolf?? I can’t believe it but it makes sense this is how she was able to take down Seb.

If I capture Sarah I can use her to my favor. With her by my side I’ll be indestructible. I can’t even imagine the kind of power she holds. Yes!!, I’ll keep her as my Queen and make her my slave in every way possible. This will surely destroy Alec. 

Sarah

I woke up with an ache on my chest. I feel my wolf pain as it was my own she was in agony. She wanted her mate back!!! 

To be honest I wasn’t doing so well either I missed Alec. Just thinking about him brought tears to my eyes.

I took a deep breath trying to calm myself down. I needed to get up and face my new reality. I looked around trying to figure out where I am. I know after I past out last night Liam took me but the question is where? Why? 

I make my way to the kitchen where I hear noises. I push open the swinging door and see Liam in grey sweat pants and a white t-shirt. Liam is tall with black hair and toned body that any girl would fall for. I clear my throat to grab his attention he turns around and smiles.

“I wasn’t sure what you liked so I made a little of everything” his voice is deep but also has a raspiness to it.

I nod and sit on the table.

“Coffee?” He ask

“Yes, please”

He sits down in front of me and hands me a cup of coffee.

“Liam where am I?”

“Eat first then will talk” he gives me a stern look that lets me know not to argue with him.

I look at the table and see eggs, bacon, pancakes, French toast, muffins, and biscuits.

“D..did you make all this?” I ask kinda shock 

 He nods

“Wow” is all I can say

We eat in silence but I feel his gaze on me the entire time. Afterwards he clears the table and puts the dishes in the dishwasher. I can tell he’s stalling.

I sigh “Liam give me answers or I’m walking out of here” I say sternly letting him know that I’m not playing around either.

“Okay, okay we’re in Australia this is where my pack is located for now. I brought you here after you past out.” The wonder I can scent other wolfs near by

“Why?”

“Believe it or not Sarah I care about you and I hated seeing you in pain. Also you were vulnerable and I smelled rogues near by. I just want to keep you safe.” I can tell he’s being sincere but at the same time I can feel he’s holding back information.

“What aren’t you telling me Liam?”

“I...I don’t want to scare you off Sarah?”

“Tell me” I push for answers

“Your not just a white wolf your a Deity. Your the daughter of Selene the Moon Goddess.”

Automatically I remember my dream. It was real! She came to me Selene my mother she told me I was a demigod. “Liam..I..I know” I say in a low tone

He looks surprised “How?”

“After I mated with Alec she came to me in a dream. At first I didn’t want to believe her words but deep down I knew it was real” 

His facial expression hardens at the mention of Alec. “Did he hurt you” he says thru gritted teeth

I look down at my lap “No....I really don’t want to talk about it” 

“Okay, do you want to freshen up and change? Your duffle bag is in your room.”

Once I’m in the shower I hold myself and cry. Alec why did you have to break my heart? The pain is to much. I feel so alone even my wolf is ignoring me.

Will

It’s been days and Alec hasn’t shifted back into human form. He almost killed a packed warrior but luckily we were able to restrain him before he killed him. It will be weeks before the warrior can fully recover. Alec is chained up and caged in the dungeon. I fear he might get out and murder everyone. You can hear his howls through out the house. He’s in pain and the whole pack can feel it. Sarah’s family hasn’t left their not only worried about Alec but also for Sarah.

Derik isn’t talking to me either he blames Alec for Sarah leaving. So he’s taking it out on me. I’m scared he might leave me but I don’t even have time to fix our relationship. Since Alec is unable to make decisions everything falls on me. Leo Alec Uncle isn’t making it easy on me, he keeps trying to challenge me for power. 

I sigh and rub my temples

I head down stairs to the dungeon to try to convince Alec Lycan to give him back control but his Lycan only growls and snarls at me

“Alec! You have to gain control this has gone on far enough!”

I try to show him tuff love but that only seems to anger him some more. I run my hands thru my hair, I’m running out of options.

“I’m sorry” I hear my mates voice and my wolf instantly cheers up.

“I...I was so lost in anger that I didn’t realize the pain and stress you were in” his voice is low and broken. I go to him “Baby it’s okay” I’m so happy he’s talking to me

“No it’s not but I promise to make it up to you” he kisses me. His kiss is gentle and sweet.

“I love you” he says to me

“I love you too” I give him a peck on the lips

“I took this from Sierra it belongs to Sarah. I think she was planing to give it to her.” He pulls out a one eye teddy bear that definitely seen better days.

I give him a questioning look “what?”

“This bear has belong to Sarah’s since she was a pup when Alec took her she never got the chance to bring it. Her parents gave this to her to help her with her nightmares. It’s never been wash since Sarah believes it’ll rub off the magic.” He chuckles “ It smells like her it has her tears, her hopes, her desires and I’m hoping it’ll tame Alec Lycan”

I nod this might work. I take the bear to Alec Lycan immediately his howls turn into whimpers. He holds the bear like if it was a delicate flower. Alecs bones begin to snap and the chains slowly fall off of him since his lycan his much larger than him. Before I know it Alec is standing in front on me naked. 

I let out a sigh of relief
