Chapter 6 (Loyalty)

Sarah 

Whore! w***e! Who does she think she’s talking to. She puts her hands on her hips waiting for an answer. I take a good look at her and she is stunning maybe late twenties, red wavy hair, blue eyes, and she’s tall a good 5,8. The tension in the room is so thick you can cute it with a knife. 

Finally Alec speaks “ Ruth! What are you doing here...” I can tell he’s angry

“Well, my Fiancé leaves for a week and comes back with a w***e around his arms!!”

The word fiancé cuts straight thru me.

“Fiancé?” I ask

“Yes as in me! The women he’s been f*cking for the past two years!”

I don’t know what shocks me more the fact that he has a fiancé or that he’s been with her for 2 years. 

Then Seb speaks up “Sister please, we’ve discussed this. Alec has found his mate...“

“I don’t care! He proposed to me and promised to make me his Queen!”

“EVERYONE OUT!!!” Alec says in his Alpha voice

Everyone starts to leave except Ruth and I. 

Alec then grips my waist tight and lifts me up with him. His touch bring sparks thru out my whole body and I lean back into him but them he says “You to Sarah! Go to the room!” I turn to stair at him in disbelief but then he’s says “NOW!!” I run out the dining room but not before I see Ruth smirk at me in triumph.

He kidnapped me just to humiliate me, I run out the back door into the forest. I’m so embarrassed that I don’t even care that it’s snowing. This is my first time seeing snow and I can’t even enjoy it. I don’t even know where his pack is located. 

Alec

I tell everyone to leave including Sarah. I can tell by the look on her face that she’s hurt but I don’t want her to see me like this. I don’t want to scare my little wolf...

“Baby.. you did the right th...” before she can finish I grab her by the neck and lift her up making her legs dangle of the floor. 

“If you ever talk like that to my mate again I will kill you! What we had is OVER! You will never be my Queen!!!” She’s gasping for air but I just tighten my grip. She’s starts clawing at my hands to break free but I don’t stop till her body goes limp. Then I drop her and walk away.

I walk up stairs to our room to explain everything to my little wolf and hope she’s not to mad at me. 

“Sarah!” I check the entire room and she’s not here. I go back downstairs and her scent disappear at the back door. How is that possible? I mind link Will and the servants to look for her. 15 min later and there’s no sign of her not even in the back garden. 

I start to worry what if something happen to my mate? My lycan is whimpering at the thought of losing our mate. He’s usually so cold and uncaring toward people but he feels something for her and so do I. I won’t lose her, I can’t.

“We will find her, I’m sure she just got lost in this massive castle.” Will says

“No, I can’t scent her anywhere something is wrong. I should be able to!”

Will looks up at me with a worry expression.

“Get Derik, Now!!!” Will tenses at the mention of his mate but nods and 5minutes later they both walk in my office. 

I waste no time and immediate ask “where is she?!?”

“She left? Why?” He answers back

“That’s not important, why can’t i scent her!”

He breaks eye contact with me, he knows something

“You know something. Don’t you”

His silence says it all. I growl out “Tell me!!”

He looks at Will and then at me “ I can’t it not my secret to tell”

I admire is loyalty to my mate but I’m King and no one disobeys a direct order “I can torture it out of you.. there are worst things than death..”

Will immediately steps in front of Derik in a protective stance.

This seems to infuriate my lycan taking full control. I prepare to fight him but then Derik speaks up

“Stop! She’s not gone... If she left then she probably needed time to think. I can find her just please don’t hurt Will!”

“Fine you have one hour to bring her to me if you fail you leave my pack and without Will”

Derik nods and leaves.

“What the f*ck Alec I’ve been your best friend for years. How could you almost attack my mate and I’m not leaving him!”

“Relax Will you know I would never harm you or your mate. Especially when he’s best friends with Sarah, she’ll never forgive me”

“Then what was all that about?” He says throwing his arm up 

“He needed a little motivation in finding my mate”
