Chapter 34 (Guilt)
Sarah Im due in five days and I don’t feel ready the guy’s ignore me all day making me feel irritated at them. Well at least their not killing each other. Elizabeth and I have been spending all our time together. I’ve really missed her and I can tell she missed me too. She doesn’t leave my side. I grab my fluffy white coat and head to the garden to think since Elizabeth is taking a nap. It’s even more beautiful than I remember and it looks like they added more flowers. I bend down to smell one “You love them?” Alec booming voice has me jumping and squealing “Sorry” he says “No, it’s fine” I say shyly “I made sure the gardeners kept up with the garden. I know how much you loved it here” I nod not sure what to say. When did Alec and I become so distant? How did things go so wrong
