Chapter 16 (Selene)

Sarah

Im walking in the woods wearing an icy blue gown. How did I get here? I’m not sure wear I’m going but I don’t stop till I see a lake the water looks crystal clear. I’ve never seen water so pure. I look up at the moon and it’s shining so bright today, it almost feels like I can touch it. Then a figure appears standing on the lake. It starts walking towards me and I should be scared or running but all I feel is peace. It’s a women and she’s breath taking her hair is silver like mine and her eyes are a forest green. She’s wearing a beautiful flowy white gown and how is she able to walk on water?

She stand in front of me and I can’t keep my eyes off her.

“My daughter you are so beautiful” she says while tucking a lose strand of hair behind my ear.

Daughter?!?

“Yes my child, I am your mother. My blood runs thru your veins. The blood of a gods.” She says with a smile

“I am Selene the Moon Goddess and your mother”

“I...I...How?” I stammer 

“You must have many questions? You were created from an egg from my womb and placed on your mother  who gave birth to you”

“Mother?” At this point I don’t even know who my mother is? The women who raised me, the women who gave birth to me or the women who carries my DNA!  I sigh in defeat 

“You know I can read your mind...”she says with a grin .”The mother who gave birth to you died protecting you. She loved you. I led you to your new family that raised you and I’ve watched you grow up into a strong warrior but yet pure of heart. You have compassion for others and protect those you love.

“You’ve been watching me?” I ask in confusion

“Yes, this world is full of corruption and greed it needed a change. So I made you some who will fight for what is right and love fiercely without dishonesty.”

“Me...but I’m no one. Why can’t you help them” I furrow my brows

“Even the gods have to follow rules and I cannot interfere with free Will or there will be consequences. I must let this evil play out but I did not leave my wolfs defenseless, I gave them you. You have tremendous power in you. Power that you haven’t even tap into.”

“I didn’t ask for this. I’ve been hiding my entire life because I’m a white wolf and now I’m a demigod? Who has to fight for others? Do you have any idea what your asking me...”

“I’m not forcing you to do anything my child. I’m just simply warning you of what is to come. You have free will as much as any other wolf. You can choose to stay hidden. I know your scared even scared to let your mate see you for what you truly are. Your mate is strong and powerful he’s a lycan a worthy match for you. He carries the blood of the first lycan I’ve created a gift I bestowed on his family each more powerful then the last. He will need you and you will need him. You both are like yin and yang one can’t live with out the other.”

“I don’t know what to do when I don’t even know who I am”

“Follow you heart and just know that I will always be here for you even if I can’t interfere I’m still your mom. I’m proud of the women you’ve become. I must go!”

She kisses my forehead and disappear.

I jump up and look around....Alec is sleeping next me it was just a dream! I let out a breath of relief. Just a dream! At least I hope so.....

I try to get up but I collapsed onto the floor. My lower body was terribly sore and I remember that I’ve been having s*x all week.

“Little wolf you should’ve woken me up.” 

“Sorry daddy I just wanted to go to the bathroom.”

He sighs and picks me up 

“How are you feeling?....Does it hurt?” I can feel his concern towards me thru the mate bond. 

“Umm, just a little sore.” I blush

He grins at me “okay did you need to use the bathroom?”

Nodding I say “yes daddy” in a low voice

He placed me on the toilet but doesn’t leave.

“I can’t pee with you watching me!”

He rolls his eyes at me “I’m your mate”

“So!! I’m not peeing with you staring at me it’s weird”

He sighs and leaves but doesn’t close the door. 

I grunt, I’v only been mated for one week and I already wanna kill him and what was up with my dream? 

Ruth

That stupid slut went into heat!!!!

I knew we should’ve gotten ride of her sooner if it wasn’t for Leo telling me to wait I would’ve killed her by now. This is all his fault....

Screw him Im tired of doing what he says. It’s time I take back what’s mine.

“Ruth are you okay?”

“No! But I will be brother.” I say thru gritted teeth

“I know it must be hard for you but your real mate is out there” Seb says to me

I nod “There still in their room?”

“Yeah..umm they’ve been there all week isolated but I still think he has contact with Will. Sis are you sure you wanna stay here at the pack house. You know...since...uh.. your no longer.. umm his fiancé?”

   “I’m fine Seb!!” I’m starting to feel annoyed by him and his stupid mate Lisa. She’s befriended Sarah and even let her do a couple dance classes with the kids. I’ve never liked Lisa for my brother she’s to weak and my brothers a warrior who deserves better. They can’t even have children they’ve been trying for years but Lisa can’t get pregnant. 

He sighs “okay, I love you sis”

Alec 

Sarah’s heat is finally gone but my lycan doesn’t want to leave her. He’s become more possessive and aggressive worried we can lose her. 

My poor baby is sore from having so much s*x I wanna keep her one more day in bed with me but I know she wants to go out and see her friends. Plus she’s worried about Elizabeth since she’s so attach to her.

“Little wolf why don’t we go for a run first I’ve never seen your wolf and I’m sure she’s restless from being cooped up all week”

“No!..I mean.. umm I can’t I already told Derik I’ll see him right now.” She runs out the door

She’s lying to me I can feel it. Why doesn’t she trust me.

I go downstairs to meet with Will. While I’ve been occupied with my mate Will has been in charge handling things. 

“How everything?”

“Oh thank Goddess your finally done. I definitely don’t envy you being King. I think I aged ten years since I last saw you.”

I laugh “Its not an easy job but I am thankful for you taking over this week”

“Anytime, sooo how was it” he says while wiggling his eyebrows 

“I’m not talking about it but all I will say is she tamed the beast” 

Will lets out a low whistle  “that amazing”

“My lycan will kill you if you think about his mate in bed”

“Wow, don’t worry about me. Remember I like d**k”

We both chuckle 

“Okay back to business how’s the preparations for the Ball?”

“Alpha Scott will be the first to arrive in two days, he requested early arrive due to his mate and beta’s wife being Sarah sister. They’ve missed her so I approve their early departure. The rest will arrive in four days.”

I nod “You did good, Sarah will be happy to see her family.”
