Andron, Volck and Mosiah had now successfully infiltrated the society of the Soths without being noticed. Volck had shown the group how to blend in by applying a certain greyish mud onto the skin on their faces such that one could not instantly tell they were not Sothian. And the technique had worked perfectly because they had now walked for almost a kilometer from the wall into the Sothian town of Shadestorm without anyone suspecting their identity.
They had walked alongside many Sothians on the road and Volck had even stopped to engage some strangers in conversation, just to fit in.
