Kam's POV
After I had gone to P'Kiet's university to tell him about what really happened the month before, I left with a little hope that P'Kiet would give me a chance. Small as it maybe, I was very happy.
'He'll read it. I know he will.'
"You look better today." P'Ram said after he got home and found me in the living room. Our parents were still at work and P'Irene hasn't come by. My brother always comes in later than me because he sends P'Boon home and sometimes stays at the manor for a couple of hours.
I gave my brother a smile and busied myself with my phone. I've neglected my source of income and I can't afford to do that anymore. Moping around can wait.
