Chapter Four

Leah -

What Eric said to me in the bedroom caught me and made my heart squeeze. How he felt in the bedroom did make me understand when he spoke to me on how he felt and about missing me including the regret he made. I do not want to give him any worry about that, I think that being here is the better choice for me and the kids.

" Eric I understand how you feel and I am sorry that you have felt this. I agree that it will be better that myself and the kids stay here." I said

Eric sighed a breathe of relief. He moved closer to me bringing me closer to his chest. He smelled my hair before speaking again.

" The pack needs you as well, where you will the Luna of this pack. Like it should have been from the start." Eric said

Eric and Leah talked more in the room about what needed to be done But someone was listening to them, which was their children that were listening to the conversation.

Avery -

It has been 2 weeks since our father found us and bought us back to the states where it became our new home. I will have to said it is strange being here, I am just used being in England. Father gave us time around the pack, to know some things and to get a better understanding of the place and including the pack.

But now it is the first day of school. Father was able to get all of us into school that is in the area. Myself and my brothers are getting ready in our new rooms. Father wanted us to make a effort in school, because he cares about education. But I am nervous on how we will be accepted in this place.

Coming out of the bathroom from brushing my hair and teeth I move to found some clothes.I fix myself in the mirror before leaving the room. Trying to tell myself that everything will be okay.

Stepping in the kitchen I see my brothers stuffing their mouths with the food that was in front of them. I sit down and build up my plate. Soon after mom came down and our father came down as well taking their seats at the table. I watched father fix mom a plate of food, I thought it was a sweet gesture. I focused on my plate.

" Alright, it's time for all of you to get to school. Do not want any to be late" Dad said.

I take my plate to the sink and grab my bag. We came across some of the other kids from this pack while we waited for the bus, there were many other kids waiting for the bus. I was hoping there is a bus big enough for all of us.

The bus came into view and we loaded on it and I took my seat and Kai sat with me as the bus pulled off to the school.

I keep telling myself that everything will be fine. Nothing to worry about. Just have to get my schedule and get through the day.

Leah -

Watching my kids go off to school I can not help but worry for them, I do hope that everything will go smoothly for them. As I am thinking to myself I feel arms wrap around me. Feeling someone's lips on my neck making me know that it is Eric. Inside my heart I know that I am giving him a chance.

Eric works his way up to my ear. He knows what he is doing to me. Because I can feel him laugh a little bit.

"Since the kids went to school I have an idea that we both can do in the mean time" Eric said

I turn around looking up at him, he leans into kiss me on the lips. I let him do it, I kiss back as well trying to match his rhythm but it was hard for me.He picke me and he slams me to the wall, the kissing getting heavier between us. Eric pulls away for a moment so we both can breathe. Then he picks me up again in a better way and goes back up the stairs to our room. He places me on the bed looking me in the eyes slowly kissing my lips once again. Then he moves to my jawline to my neck, going down to my body.

I feel him unbutton my pants which opens my eyes.

" Shhh" Eric spoke

He never breaks eye contact with me and he was able to remove my pants and underwear in one go.

And well think one can know what happened after that.

Eric -

After I and Leah spent some time in the bedroom that morning I left her to rest. She needed it, we had many rounds together and I gave her my mark. Since I give her my mark it will take time for her to heal right being human now. Which made me worried about that, she is human now I need to more careful with her.

Other than that I left the room so she can rest and I went to my office to change. Once done changing I get to my desk to start some paper work that needs to be done, paper work is the least fun part of being the Alpha but it needs to be done. In my mind I think about my oldest son, Aiden. Seeing him made me feel pride when I looked at him, he is the next Alpha of this pack so I need him to be ready. That I need to keep him close to me so he can learn how to rule a pack as the alpha when I step down. He will have many things to learn from me.

Pushing that thought away for some time I keep myself busy. I work the half the day and when lunch came around I check the time, I leave my office to head down where I saw Leah at the table already eating her lunch.

Walking up behind her kissing her on the lips. Loving it that I tower over her, it makes me feel more dominant, like I can keep her safe above anything. I take my seat at the table so I can eat my lunch. with my love before going back to work.

" I was thinking in a month time we can have the Luna ceremony." I said

" Really?" Leah spoke confused

" Of course, I believe that will be a good thing, to make it official, not only for you but the pack as well. Besides I want you by my side." I said

" I am already at your side". she said making me smile.

Both went on eating their food and having small conversations at the table. Eric soon left to go back to work and Leah went back upstairs to change. She left the house to walk around the pack lands meeting the people inside the pack. Some she knew from the past and some she didn't but she put in the effort to get to know them. Most of them were nice to her but there was one person who stood out from the people. Someone she never wanted to see again. Her cousin Miranda. Seeing Miranda brought hurtful memories to Leah but Leah kept telling herself that was in the past and Eric is different. But Leah wondered why Miranda was here to being with? What does she want? Leah wondered to herself.

" So you have finally came around? Are you tired of being alone? Or did many men that you slept with get tired of you. I am not sure why you are here to begin with, I did those children around you. I know that you convinced Eric someway that they are his kids which I do not believe. Because you Leah are a w***e" Miranda said

" Do not call the Luna that!" One member yelled out.

" Luna!?! As if!?! She is human!! She can never be the Luna! Because of you Eric left me when you ranaway!" Miranda yelled

Miranda was fuming, she charged towards Leah going to hit her but Leah hit Miranda first. Right in the face, Leah felt pain in her hand but she held it together. Leah bent down to look at Miranda in the eyes.

" I did not ran away, you knew that. My parents threw me out. And for Eric he would have pushed you away no matter what because you are the w***e not me. I have had s*x with one man, who is the father to all of my children. You see Miranda, you are nothing special. Just a selfish, rude, w***e of a person. And no one feels sorry for you. You always scream attention when you don't get it. I might be human but I am still Luna of this pack since I have fix the broke bond with Eric. As Luna, this is your only and last warning towards me nor any member of this pack that you will not step out of line." Leah said with anger in her eyes.

Leah stood tall and she nodded towards everyone that listened to what she said. And everyone had astonishment in there eyes. Leah acted like a true Luna.

Leah finished her tasks around the pack and she was going back to the house. When she got into the bathroom she took a look at her hand. Her hand was getting puffy and turning colors. She knew that her hand was in bad shape. But she felt proud in that moment the way she stood up to her cousin. Leah kept her hand under the sink with the cold water going. She was in the bathroom for a long time that she didn't even notice. The bathroom door opened up showing Eric.

His smile faded with he saw some sweat coming from her forehead and her hand in the sink. Something was wrong. He stepped closer to her.

" What in the hell happened?" Eric said panicked

" Oh it's nothing. I punched my cousin, Miranda in the face. She said somethings that were uncalled for, so I punched her." Leah said like it was nothing

" Leah." Eric slowly grabbed Leah's hand.

" First thing first your hand is broken. Let's go to the pack doctor. Second I am proud of you". Eric said kissing Leah's forehead.

Both went to the pack doctor and the doctor took X-rays of Leah's hand. Put in a cast, giving the medicine to Eric with detail's on when Leah should take the medicine.

While walking back Eric could not understand why Miranda was around to begin with. Over the years Miranda has tried to be with Eric but he was not feeling her. Eric was growing tired of her including the others of the pack were growing tired of her as well. Everyone knew that she is loose kind of woman having no respect for herself. There is nothing in the world that Miranda wants more, and that is to be Luna.

Eric and Leah were back in the house sitting in the living room waiting for the kids to come home which would be any minute now.
