Charlotte know that I am curious with what happen back there and want to know about the woman, she try avoid my gaze for hundred times and try to speak other things.
Then I had enough "Don't give me that nothing answers, Charlotte" I scowl and cross my arms.
She release a loud sigh before lean back on the couch.
"Karen used to be Vincent first love" I am taken aback with the news and put my hand in front of my mouth. I never thought it was the thing she'll tell me.
She's his first love?
He used to love that beautiful woman?
Is he still in love with her?
"We thought she's innocent and an angel" My mind going back to the present time when I heard she continue and ignore the played movie "Since we were young, people knows about Brancaccio and Vincent was the one who use that famous to his own um.. Benefit by using every woman who wants him but realize they can't have him, so it just always for.. s*x and fun" Cringed by the fact, I tried to not jealous to hear the fact about him. I should know this side of Vincent but hearing it from his own sister wound me.
"Until Karen comes" Charlotte pause and I saw from her eyes that she remember something before start again "The 'virgin girl who didn't have any dirty thoughts about Vincent" She scoffs.
"What happen?"
"My brother only 20 when he thought finally there is a girl who doesn't care about who he is and like him by himself not because of his family names"
"She's perfect then?" I comment but Charlotte shook her head.
"They never slept and it's the first relationship that Vincent had without involving s*x, but it's better for him, since he have something better to give her, all of him.. his soul and love"
My heart almost breaking when I hear it, but I try to keep up.
"Why they're not together now?” Even though I am hurt to hear him with her, but if she can make him happy, why they’re not together now?
"It was my brother 21st birthday when suddenly she come with tears and claimed that she's having his baby"
"What?" Gasped, I don't know what to say; too shock to be able to speak.
I thought they never slept...
Charlotte nod for confirmed that I hear her right.
How can she pregnant while they never......
"Unfortunately she makes a deal to other Mafia to hurt Vincent and they paid her for that"
"No" I gasped.
"Yup.. She's not the 'virgin' girl we thought before and even she doesn't know who's the father so she lied by said it's Vincent's in front of our family"
It must be sad to know your love betray you like that.
Vincent must be hurting to know his love one could do something horrible like that.
"But, shockingly Vincent want to marry her and be the father of her child" My eyes widened when I hear her clearly. Oh God, he love her that deep?
He knows it's not his but still want her even though she's having another man's baby?
"So, I need help and then decided to go to my mother" Charlotte shrugged.
"Eowyn knows?"
"My mother is a great woman who can see everything. She knows before I asked her for help" Charlotte nod and I know that Eowyn indeed a great woman who is able to keep calm while there is a storm hit her family.
"What did she do then?" I asked in curious with how they handle her?
"Mom knows that woman like her only wants money" Charlotte scoffs and look disgust with the thought of getting money from dirty acts like that.
"So, you pay her?"
She nodded "Paid her and demand to not, ever, come and see us again, especially meeting Vincent"
"Oh God, she's evil" I shook my head in disbelief with what I hear.
How can someone do that horrible things to this family? to Vincent?
She already had his loves. why?
"After that she comes to Vincent and told him that she never love him, she explain how she be with him so she can get easy money and laugh for knowing that she can easily come to his heart" I closed my eyes in pain for thinking about how hurting Vincent when it happen, I can't imagine his feeling when the girl she loves say those hurt words.
"She also said that she didn't know the father because she slept a lot and laughed at Vincent who thought she's. virgin"
Oh. my. God.
"And she leaves laughed hard to the stone Vincent"
Love is blind.
She get the thing I want from him, his love and she throw it like that.
Idiot.
No wonder Charlotte reaction was like that when she sees her back there.
Knock.. Knock..
"Hey, can I join you all?" Shocked by the sudden appearing Vincent, I can't meet his eyes so I just nod and down my head whilst Charlotte speaks happily like nothing happened.
I just hope he didn’t listened us talks about him.
"Brother, come.. come" She shout and pull him in "We're watching 'The Notebook"
Vincent cringed after his sister mention 'The Notebook and made us laughed.
Can't imagine a man w***e like him had a sad story like that.
He's really strong.
Is that the reason why he didn't believe in love now?
"Why so quiet, Bree?" He take a seat beside me and ask at the same time he give me a glass of red wine, my favorite.
Smile, I took the glass and sighed.
"Sometimes I feel blessed to know that I am part in this family" He smile with his breathtaking smile that I loves.
